SAINT PAUL, MINN.—Hamline University women's basketball senior guard Chan'el Anderson-Manning was named to the 2022-23 D3Hoops.com All-Region Third Team. This marks the Hamline women's basketball program's first All-Region selection since Jordan Sammons earned second team honors in 2014-15.

Anderson-Manning, who started all 27 games, finished the season with a team-leading 65 steals and 69 assists. The St. Paul native contributed 7.6 points per game on 63-of-168 (.375) shooting in 2022-23. She notched a season-high six steals in a 79-55 win over Crown on December 17, and a season-best four blocks in a 77-52 decision over Carleton on December 7. Anderson-Manning was named MIAC Defensive Player of the Week on December 12 and December 19.

Her stellar senior season earned her 2022-23 MIAC Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Year, and a spot on the All-Conference Team.

The Pipers finished the 2022-23 season with an 18-9 record.
