ROGERS, MINN.—The Hamline University women's tennis team resumed MIAC play with a Sunday-afternoon bout against Concordia (Minn.) at the Rogers Tennis Center, where they dropped a 7-2 decision.
The Pipers fall to 2-9, 0-4 MIAC, while the Cobbers improve to 9-7, 2-4 MIAC.
"The women battled bravely today and lost a nai-lbiter against a solid Concordia team full of seniors and juniors," said Pipers head tennis coach Spencer Jones. "Special recognition to Lynn Nguyen for coming back to pull out a third set tiebreak against a quality and experienced opponent."

The doubles flight resulted in a Hamline victory at the No. 3 position courtesy of Christine Muller/Sydney Hubbard by a score of 8-7. Two-of-six singles matches went to a tiebreaker, as one of them went in Hamline's favor at No. 3 behind Lynn Nguyen's emotional 2-6, 6-4, 1-0 triumph. Muller dropped a hard fought 6-3, 4-6, 0-1 battle at No. 4.
The Pipers will return to action on Friday, March 24 in a neutral-site match against Bethany Lutheran in Owatonna, Minnesota at 3 p.m.
