SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's volleyball team earned the 2023 U.S. Marine Corp (USMC) / American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award, as well as a spot on the Top-20 Percent Team Academic Honor Roll.

This is Hamline's 13th all-time, and sixth-straight USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award. The Pipers, who notched a 3.74 team GPA for the 2022-23 academic year, have now earned three-straight trips to the Top-20 Percent Academic Honor Roll.

The award, initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale.
