Pipers Blanked By Oles on the Road

NORTHFIELD, MINN.—The Hamline University women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision at St. Olaf on Saturday afternoon.

The Pipers fall to 4-6-4, 1-3-2 MIAC, while the Oles improve to 9-1-2, 4-1-1 MIAC.

No rhythm was found by the Pipers, who managed just one shot against 15 from the Oles. Among those 15 shots were goals from Katie Beaudry in the third minute, Sadie Klassen on the penalty kick in the 51st minute, and Chloe Valleau in the 66th minute that sealed St. Olaf a 3-0 victory. Cat Duffy-Shaw assisted on Beaudry's tally, while Emily Johnson was credited the helper on Valleau's score.

Maya Dempsey, who was assessed the game's lone yellow card in the 58th minute, also recorded Hamline's only shot.

Ava Williams didn't notch a save in a complete-game shutout in net for St. Olaf, while Hamline goalkeeper Isabella Jensen stopped eight shots over 90:00.

The Pipers will host Martin Luther at Pat Paterson Field tomorrow, Sunday, October 13 at 3 p.m.
