SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University men's tennis team closed out their fall season with a Saturday-afternoon match against UW-Stevens Point at the Holt Courts. The Pointers won the doubles point, which ultimately sealed them a 4-3 victory.
"Brendon Sebring was terrific," said Pipers head coach Spencer Jones. "Gutting out yet another third-set tiebreak win for the men. Cooper Johnson continued his undefeated season as a freshman pairing with Tyler Rousslang for an excellent win against a tough one doubles team and then controlling the action at number two singles as well. Jonah Wendt had an amazing singles win for his first singles victory of his collegiate career at number six that kept us in it until the very end."
The Pipers fall to 0-2, while the Pointers improve to 4-3.
