SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's tennis team closed out their fall season with a Saturday-afternoon match against UW-Stevens Point at the Holt Courts. The Pipers swept doubles to earn the point, but couldn't keep that momentum going in a 4-3 loss to the Pointers.
"The women were great and won five-of-nine total matches but still lost 3-4," said Pipers head tennis coach Spencer Jones. "Vanessa continued her amazing streak with a dominant win at number one singles and a win at number one doubles."
The Pipers fall to 0-2, while the Pointers improve to 6-5.
