SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's tennis team continued their fall season with a 6-1 loss to UW-La Crosse at the Holt Courts on Saturday afternoon.
The Pipers fall to 2-2, while the Eagles improve to 7-1.
"Hamline women took on an extremely tough La Crosse squad," said Pipers head tennis coach Spencer Jones. "Vanessa Pham was a shining star again, earning the best singles win of her career coming through in a third-set tiebreaker at number one."
Vanessa Pham prevailed for the Pipers in a third-set tiebreak at No. 1 singles with a 3-6, 6-3, 10-6 victory.
The Pipers will host UW-Stevens Point at Holt Courts on Saturday, October 19 at 11 a.m.
