2024 D3football.com All-Region Teams

SAINT PAUL, MINN.—Hamline University wide receiver Dawson Schaffer was named to the 2024 D3football.com All-Region Third Team. Schaffer, a transfer from Concordia (Minn.), is the second-straight Piper wide receiver to earn a spot on the team after Charlie Wilson was named to the third team in 2023. 

The Kindred, North Dakota native is the ninth selection in program history to be named to the D3football.com All-Region Team.

His 1239 yards receiving in 2024 is a Hamline single-season school-record. Schaffer accomplished that feat with a team-leading 67 receptions and 13 touchdown grabs. He caught a season-best nine balls on four occasions, which included a 35-14 victory over Crown on September 7. Schaffer accumulated a school-record five touchdowns and 272 yards in that contest.
