NORTHFIELD, MINN.—The Hamline University men's track & field team competed at the St. Olaf Tostrud Classic on Saturday afternoon.
Jackson Lightner added another championship to his resume with a first-place time of 8.46 in the 60 meter hurdles. Morris Suah, who took first place in the high jump with a 1.88m, followed Lightner in the 60 meter hurdles with a second-place time of 8.84. Austin Schroeder kept the second-place trend alive with a 4.45m in the pole vault.
Michael Braun registered a leap of 13.32m in the triple jump, good enough for second place. Harry Massey claimed second place in the shot put with a toss of 12.65m.Â
Fourth place was in the cards for Mickey Otis, who crossed the finish line at 7.33 in the 60 meter dash.Â
The Pipers will compete in the 2024 MIAC Indoor Championship in Northfield, Minnesota on February 22-24.
