Men's Track & Field Competed at 2024 MIAC Indoor Championship

RESULTS

NORTHFIELD, MINN.—The Hamline University men's track & field team finished the 2024 MIAC Indoor Championship with a ninth-place score of 20 points. Bethel claimed the men's team title with 164 points.

Austin Schroeder cleared the bar at 4.55m in the pole vault en route to third place.

Jackson Lightner qualified for the 60 meter hurdle finals with a sixth-place time of 8.66 in the preliminaries. He improved that time in the finals with a 8.62, good enough for fifth place. 

Michael Braun notched four points in the triple jump, where he registered a leap of 13.32m that put him in fifth place. Braun scored three points in the high jump with a mark of 1.87m that secured him sixth place. 

The Pipers compete at the Wartburg Last Chance Meet on March 1-2.
