NORTHFIELD, MINN.—The Hamline University men's basketball team dropped a 63-52 road decision to St. Olaf on Wednesday night.
The Pipers fall to 13-8, 11-5 MIAC, while the Oles improve to 9-12, 8-8 MIAC.

All four of the game's lead changes occurred in the first half, when the Oles took the driver's seat for good off Brendan Kauls layup that made the score 28-27 in the final minute. St. Olaf steadily grew their lead throughout the second half, as their largest cushion was the 63-52 final score.
Bradley Cimperman paced Hamline with 17 points along with two steals. Austin Holt, who finished with a team-leading three steals, had a double double that included 15 points and a season-high 16 rebounds. Daniel McCarrell led the way with five assists.
Hamline's starting five carried the load, with the bench scoring just eight points.
Kobe Kirk's game-high 25 points for the Oles included an 8-of-9 field goal percentage, and a perfect 9-of-9 from the charity stripe.
The Pipers will host Carleton on Wednesday, February 7 at 7 p.m.
