SAINT PAUL, MINN - The Hamline University women's tennis team traveled to Orlando, Florida to play Susquehanna University on Thursday, March 14th. The Pipers had strong performances from all players in the lineup leading them to an 8-1 victory.Â

The Pipers got out to a hot doubles start again that propelled them to victory. The captain sophomore doubles paring of
Chrissa Muller and
Nataline Randall won at one doubles 8-6. Sophomore
Chloe Reyes and freshman
Vanessa Pham won 8-0 at two doubles while sophomore
Lynn Ngyuen and senior
Sydney Hubbard won by the same score at three doubles.Â

Hamline took five of the six singles matches with only conceding second singles. Reyes won 6-3, 6-3 at one singles, while Ngyuen was victorious at three singles by the score of 6-2, 6-0. Pham and Kohner both won their matches 6-0, 6-0 at four and five singles. To round it out at six singles
Elizabeth Dimian took her match 6-2, 6-3.
Ashley Pitzen fell at two singles in three sets to make the final score 8-1 in favor of the Pipers.Â
