SAINT PAUL, MINN - The Hamline University women's tennis team traveled to Orlando, Florida to play Scranton University on Friday, March 15th.
 
Hamline improves to 7-5, while Scranton falls to 3-5 on the season.

The Pipers won two out of the three doubles spots against Scranton on Friday. Ashley Pitzen and Chrissa Muller won 8-2 and one doubles, Chloe Reyes and Vanessa Pham won 8-3, and to round it out at third doubles Lynn Ngyuen and Elena Kohner fell to the Scranton doubles team 8-7. The Pipers took five out of the six singles spots. Reyes, Muller, Ngyuen all took care of business at one, three, and four singles. The two freshman Pham and Kohner each won at five and six singles. 
 
The Pipers next play Brooklyn College on Saturday, March 16th at 2:30 p.m. to wrap up the spring break trip.
