Kohner's Big Day Not Enough in Loss to Royals

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.—The Hamline University women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to undefeated Bethel at InnerCity Tennis on Tuesday afternoon.

The Pipers fall to 8-6, 0-5 MIAC, while the Royals stay perfect at 13-0, 3-0 MIAC.

"The girls played really hard today against an excellent team," said Pipers head tennis coach Spencer Jones. "Elanna Kohner's performance is indicative of the direction that this program is heading. She is the first player to sweep doubles and singles at Bethel for the Hamline women in a long time."
