PELLA, IOWA-The Hamline University women's soccer team snapped a two-game win streak with a 3-0 loss at Central (Iowa) on Saturday afternoon.
The Pipers fall to 3-3, while the Dutch improve to 4-2.

The game's first six shots belonged to Central. The fifth attempt resulted in a goal courtesy of Amber Santana in the 14th minute, which gave the Dutch a 1-0 lead. Hamline outshot Central 4-3 from that point until halftime.
Grace Coates had three points for the Dutch over the final 45:00. She widened Central's lead to 2-0 in the 55th minute, and assisted on Piper Eighemy's tally in the 89th minute that pushed the margin to 3-0.
Central out shot Hamline 19-11. Sydni Thompson led Hamline with four shot attempts.
Isabella Jensen stopped seven shots in net for the Pipers, while her counterpart Josie Farmer made five saves in a complete-game shutout between the pipes for the Dutch.
Hamline will open MIAC play at Augsburg on Wednesday, September 18 at 7:30 p.m.
