SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to UW-Eau Claire at Pat Paterson Field on Thursday afternoon.
The Pipers fall to 1-2, while the Blugolds improve to 2-1.

Goals from Molly Henderson in the 18th minute, Sophie Hubbard in the 26th, and Jayda Swopes in the 48th sealed a 3-0 victory for UW-Eau Claire. Kori Millis, Caroline Curran, and Lisette Thurman each assisted on those goals, respectively. The Blugolds peppered 17 shots, and held the Pipers to just six. Ellie Nhean had four of those shots, all on target, including a penalty kick and the ensuing rebound shot with 0:07 remaining in the game. Maya Dempsey fired two shots for the Pipers.
Isabella Jensen made nine saves in a complete-game effort in net for Hamline. Bella Jones stopped four shots over the first 45:00 between the pipes for Eau Claire before Kennedy Boll didn't record a save throughout the second half.
The Pipers will host Northwestern (Minn.) at Pat Paterson Field on Saturday, September 7 at 1 p.m.
