MOORHEAD, MINN.--The Hamline University men's basketball team fell to Concordia (Minn.) 69-63 on the road Saturday afternoon.
The Pipers fall to 11-9, 7-4 MIAC, while the Cobbers improve to 8-11, 4-6 MIAC.

In the first half, both teams exchanged the lead multiple times, with the Pipers initially pulling ahead 20-14 at 12:44. A notable scoring streak occurred when
Bradley Cimperman made back-to-back 3-pointers, briefly extending the Pipers' lead to 23-17 with 12:04 on the clock. The Cobbers responded with consistent scoring in the paint, totaling 20 points from that area, and took their largest lead at 33-28 with 4:57 remaining before they closed the half with a narrow 37-35 lead over the Pipers.
The second half saw several significant scoring runs and key plays. Early in the half, Hamline's
Daniel McCarrell hit a 3-pointer at 19:03 to narrow Concordia's lead to 39-38, which was quickly followed by another 3-pointer from
Raoul Vaidya to put Hamline ahead 41-39. Concordia regained momentum with Peyton Belka scoring a 3-pointer and a jumper, extending their lead to 46-41. In the latter part of the half, Hamline's
Ethan Wall-Atim contributed crucial points with consecutive layups, helping his team take a 58-52 advantage at 10:23. Despite several missed shots and turnovers from both teams, the Cobbers managed to finish strong with free throws from Jacob Cook, Peyton Belka, and Rowan Nelson that locked a 69-63 victory for Concordia.
Bradley Cimperman stood out on the Pipers with a strong performance, scoring 16 points while adding five assists and five rebounds. He also contributed defensively with two steals.
Austin Holt was a key player with 10 rebounds and five assists, adding 11 points, including two 3-pointers.
Raoul Vaidya made an impact from beyond the arc, hitting 3-of-10 three-point attempts, contributing to his total of 11 points.
Ethan Wall-Atim showcased his defensive skills, leading the team with two blocks and grabbing nine rebounds while scoring six points.
The Pipers shot .407 (24-of-59) from the field, while the Cobbers notched a .359 (23-of-64) mark.
Rowan Nelson led the scoring effort with 20 points, making eight-of-14 shot attempts, including one 3-pointer, and adding three assists. Jackson Loge contributed significantly with 15 points and was dominant on the boards, securing 13 rebounds. He also had a notable defensive presence with two steals. Peyton Belka stood out defensively with two steals and also added 10 points, making two 3-pointers. Erik Hedstrom was efficient offensively, scoring nine points while gathering nine rebounds, with three on the offensive end. Jacob Cook was perfect from the free-throw line, hitting all six attempts, and finished with 10 points.
