ORLANDO, FLA.—The Hamline University women's tennis team defeated Scranton 6-1 in Orlando, Florida on Thursday.
"We overcame strong winds and adversity to come back from deficits in almost every match and win against a very solid team today," said Pipers head tennis coach Spencer Jones. "Super proud of these women."

The Pipers claimed the doubles point behind wins from Vanessa Pham/Cora Andersen 7-5 at No. 1, and Elanna Kohner/Christine Muller 7-5 at No. 2.
No. 2 singles saw Andersen claim a 6-2, 3-6, 1-0 victory. Elanna Kohner took care of business 6-1, 7-5 at the No. 3 spot, while Christine Muller was victorious 6-4, 6-2 at No. 4. Emily Greger prevailed 7-5, 6-4 at No. 5 singles. The No. 6 spot resulted in a 7-6, 6-3 win for Chloe Reyes.
The Pipers will face Colby-Sawyer tomorrow, Friday, March 21 at 10:30 a.m. (ET).
