ORLANDO, FLA.—The Hamline University men's tennis team dropped a 4-3 decision to Colby-Sawyer in their final spring break match in Orlando, Florida on Friday.
The Pipers fall to 3-7, while the Chargers improve to 6-4.
"Nailbiting loss for the Hamline men against a solid team today," said Pipers head tennis coach Spencer Jones. "Eli and Matthew both battled hard but came up to short in third set tiebreakers. First and third doubles gave us dominant showings."

Hamline claimed the doubles point behind a 6-1 win from Rumeal Setts/Tyler Rousslang at No. 1, and a 6-2 decision from Cooper Johnson/Matthew George at No. 3.
Setts took the momentum into singles, where he prevailed 7-6, 7-6 at No. 1. Brendan Sebring took care of business 6-7, 6-2, 1-0 at the No. 5 spot. George fell 6-4, 4-6, 0-1 at No. 6, while Elijah Krause also suffered a tie break loss 6-1, 1-6, 0-1 at No. 4.
The Pipers will travel to Saint Mary's (Minn.) on Saturday, March 29 for a 4:30 p.m. match.
