ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—The Hamline University men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 road decision to Bethel in Arden Hills on Tuesday.
The Pipers fall to 6-10, 2-5 MIAC, while the Royals improve to 13-5, 6-1 MIAC.
"Hard fought loss at Bethel today," said Pipers head tennis coach Spencer Jones. Another one that could've gone either way. Special congrats to Brendon Sebring and Cooper Johnson for having an undefeated day against a tough opponent.
Bethel 6, Hamline 3
Sebring/Johnson prevailed 8-5 at No. 3 doubles. Johnson went on to notched a 6-0, 4-6, 1-0 win at No. 3 singles, while Sebring notched a 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 result at No. 5 singles.
The Pipers will travel to UW-Eau Claire on Saturday, April 19 at 2 p.m.
