EAU CLAIRE, WIS.—The Hamline University men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision at UW-Eau Claire on Saturday.
The Pipers fall to 6-11, while the Blugolds improve to 6-7.
"Good win for Rumeal and Tyler at one doubles, but we couldn't sustain any momentum in singles today against a good team on the road," said Pipers head tennis coach Spencer Jones.
UW-Eau Claire 7, Hamline 0
Hamline's lone victory occurred at No. 1 doubles, where Rumeal Setts/Tyler Rousslang prevailed 6-4. Despite the win, the Blugolds earned the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and 3, and swept singles to earn the 7-0 result.
The Pipers will host Northwestern (Minn.) at Holt Courts on Wednesday, April 23.
