Women's Track & Field Opened 2025 Outdoor Season at Home Meet

RESULTS

SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The annual Hamline Invitational was upon the women's track & field team for their 2025 outdoor opener at Klas Field on Saturday.

Lexi Brainer claimed the hammer throw title with a career-best 50.80m. The podium finishes continued for Brainer with a third-place mark of 36.11m in the discus. Jade Hunt followed Brainer with a 36.04m in the discus, which put her in fourth place.

Frankie Witham took second place in the high jump, where she cleared the bar at 1.53m. Second place was the case for the 4x100 meter relay team of Kebeh Temeh, Claire Siems, Grace Hoffmann, and Alexi Schneider (50.65).

Claire Siems crossed the finish line at 26.18 in the 200 meter dash, good enough for third place. Siems' stellar meet also consisted of a fourth-place time of 12.78 in the 100 meter dash. Addyson Barrett kept the fourth-place trend going in the long jump, where she topped out at 4.76m. 

Savannah Brown's 2.75m in the pole vault put her in sixth place.

The Pipers will compete at the Bethel Invitational on Saturday, April 12 in Arden Hills, Minnesota.
