Pipers Complete Day One of 2025 MIAC Outdoor Championship

SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's track & field team embarked on day one of the 2025 MIAC Outdoor Championship at Macalester Stadium on Friday. The Pipers sit in eighth place through day one, while St. Olaf leads the field with 61 points.

The Pipers got a pair of eighth-place finishes from Abby Tapajna (40:51.24) in the 10000 meter run, and Savannah Brown (3.18m, career best) in the pole vault. 

Anabel Bradley qualified for the 800 meter run finals with a career best 2:16.36 in the prelims, good enough for fourth place. The 400 meter hurdle prelims saw Brooke Baumann qualify for finals with an eighth-place mark of 1:07.37. Also qualifying for finals was Claire Siems, who notched ninth place in the 100 meter dash prelims with a 12.69.

Day two of the MIAC Outdoor Championship will occur at Macalester tomorrow, Saturday, May 10 at 12 p.m.
