SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Hamline (11-5, 3-4 MIAC) fell to St. Olaf (10-7, 6-2 MIAC) 75-74 on Saturday at Hutton Arena, despite Hamline's 50 points in the paint. The game saw both teams tied twice and exchange the lead four times, with St. Olaf overcoming a 14-point halftime deficit.
The game began with St. Olaf's AJ Uhl scoring the first basket with a layup, giving them an early lead. Hamline quickly responded, with
Raoul Vaidya converting two free throws to tie the game.
Dominic Dosmann then contributed significantly for the Pipers, scoring multiple layups and a jumper to help establish a lead. Throughout the half, Hamline's
Ethan Wall-Atim and
Braedy Laliberte secured key rebounds, and Vaidya added a three-pointer to extend their advantage. The Pipers maintained control and finished the first half ahead, 41-27, with Dosmann's late layup sealing their strong start.
