WINONA, Minn. --- At the 2026 WIAC Championship held at Winona State University, the Hamline University gymnastics team finished in ninth place with a total team score of 184.200. Under the guidance of head coach
Doug Byrnes, the Pipers recorded their highest event score on the vault, totaling 46.550.

Individual Highlights
Vault: Elena Bailey led the Pipers on the vault with a score of 9.475, followed closely by Sydney Stoenner, who posted a 9.450.
Uneven Bars: Clara Gilles earned the team's top mark on the bars with a 9.200, while Lily Ramsdell contributed a 9.150.
Balance Beam: Carly Banta delivered the highest individual score of the meet for Hamline, recording a 9.625 on the beam. Kaitlyn Morgan also performed well with a score of 9.375.
Floor Exercise: Sydney Stoenner paced the team on the floor with a 9.525. Both Anna Johnson and Lizzie Green added strong scores of 9.450 to the team total.
All-Around: Carly Banta competed in the all-around for the Pipers, finishing 5th with a total score of 36.025.
