SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Hamline University (10-6) secured a decisive 6-1 victory over Martin Luther College (4-8) on Monday. The Pipers captured the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions and dominated singles play by clinching five out of six matches.

Elanna Kohner and Chrissa Muller won 6-1 against Britney Prahl and Emily Gronholz at No. 1 doubles, while
Chloe Reyes and
Emily Dreger dominated with a 6-0 win over Rebekah Schroeder and Karly Miller at No. 2 doubles. Martin Luther College's Mathilde Bodenbender and Elizabeth Bigelow took a 6-4 win over
Vanessa Pham and
Gabi Newton at No. 3 doubles.
In singles, the Pipers continued their strong performance.
Chloe Reyes secured a straight-sets victory at No. 2 singles, 6-0, 6-0, over Emily Gronholz.
Elanna Kohner claimed a 7-6, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles against Rebekah Schroeder, and Chrissa Muller added a 6-3, 6-1 victory at No. 4 singles over Mathilde Bodenbender.
Emily Dreger clinched the match for Hamline with her 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 5 singles against Allie Hinz.
Shayla Draper capped off the day with a 6-0, 6-2 victory at No. 6 singles over Callie Bivens. The final dual score was 6-1 in favor of the Pipers.
