ABCA RELEASE
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Hamline University baseball team earned the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award, announced July 22.Â
This gives the Pipers their sixth consecutive ABCA Team Academic Excellence Awards dating back to 2020-21. The team was one of nearly 500 college programs across all division who met the requirement for the award.Â
To qualify, a program was required to meet the following criteria:
- Be a high school or college baseball program
- Have a head coach who is a current ABCA member
- Post a minimum cumulative team GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for the 2025-26 academic year
Hamline baseball finished the season with a 13-26 record, which included 7 conference games that they lost by just one single run. They also finished with a .959 fielding percentage as a team.Â
