Pipers Remain Undefeated With 4-0 Win

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Hamline defeated Minn.-Morris 4-0 on Friday. Hamline scored twice in each half and outshot Minn.-Morris 24-3, including a 16-0 margin in shots on goal. The Pipers also finished with eight corner kicks while holding Minn.-Morris without one, recording the shutout with no saves required. The result moved Hamline to 4-0-0, while Minn.-Morris fell to 1-2-0.

The Pipers generated the first extended push of the first half, putting five shots toward goal and earning four corner kicks between Riley Keiffer's saved attempt at :42 and Reese Keiffer's saved shot at 9:56. Addyson Barrett broke through at 12:32 off an assist from Alexis Geary to put Hamline ahead 1-0, and the Pipers continued to create chances with additional shots from Barrett, Neva Woodson, Elysse Tanaka and Geary before the half-hour mark. Josie Carlson scored from Graycie Griffiths at 31:44 to make it 2-0, and Hamline added four more shots down the stretch as it carried the two-goal lead into halftime.

The Pipers started the second half with corner kicks at 45:50 and 47:42, a Geary shot, and Barrett's goal at 51:28 that moved the score to 3-0. After another Hamline corner and a Danna Garcia shot, Minn.-Morris put two shots wide shortly after the hour, but Hamline came back with an Ellie Nhean shot that required a team save and another corner at 64:04. Sonnie Luciano had a shot saved at 70:26, then set up Sharleen Garcia's goal at 71:25 to extend Hamline's lead to 4-0. Alexi Schneider and Addyson Moore each put later shots on frame before the Pipers closed out the second half and the 4-0 win.

Barrett scored twice, including the game-winning goal, and led Hamline with five shots, three on goal. Sharleen Garcia scored on her only shot attempt. Carlson also converted her lone shot into a goal. Geary added an assist and three shots, putting one on goal.

Hamline is 4-0-0 overall. Minn.-Morris is 1-2-0 overall.

The Pipers will be at Central College on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, at 2 p.m. in Pella, Iowa.
