ST. PAUL, Minn. — Hamline tied Augsburg 2-2 on Saturday at Pat Paterson Field. After a scoreless first half, Hamline scored twice in the second half and finished with a 12-9 advantage in shots.
After
Alexis Geary put Hamline's first shot wide at 8:53, Augsburg generated a corner and a saved Megan Collins shot before Hamline created a stretch of pressure with three corner kicks from 11:03 to 11:58.
Athena Lopez,
Neva Woodson and
Reese Keiffer followed with attempts during that sequence, but the half remained scoreless as the match moved into a foul-heavy stretch through the middle minutes. Augsburg later tested
Sharis Garcia again, with Garcia saving shots from Mia Kosnick at 17:39 and Piper Schmidt at 34:50.
Elysse Tanaka added a Hamline attempt in the 32nd minute, and Hamline recorded a team save on Charlotte Sussman's shot at 42:56 to keep the first half scoreless.

Sharis Garcia saved Kaidin Camp's shot at 50:30 and
Danna Garcia put an attempt left,
Addyson Barrett scored at 52:18 to give Hamline a 1-0 lead in the second half. Augsburg tied it at 62:41 on Piper Schmidt's goal from McKenna Nachreiner, but
Ellie Nhean scored at 64:20 to put Hamline back in front, 2-1. Both sides generated set-piece chances later, with Hamline earning corners at 66:50 and 77:10 before Augsburg earned one at 82:37 and tied the match at 2-2 on Nachreiner's goal from Camp at 83:07. Hamline created the late chances after the equalizer, getting a corner at 83:17, a Barrett shot saved by Claire Smothers at 88:15, another corner at 89:34 and Woodson's saved shot at 89:54 as the match finished 2-2.
Barrett scored an unassisted goal and put both of her shots on goal. Nhean added an unassisted goal, finishing with two points on two shots.
Sharis Garcia played all 90 minutes in goal and recorded four saves.
Hamline is 4-2-1 overall and 0-1-1 in conference play. Augsburg is 1-3-2 overall and 1-0-1 in conference play.
