She is the last line on defense on the soccer field. Senior women's goalie Amy Ramras has been quietly rewriting the school record book this year. She entered the 2016 season as the school record holder for career shutouts, adding three this year to now total 14. On Sunday, she surpassed her goalie coach (Molly Jacobs) as the all-time leader in victories when she recorded her 17th in the Pipers' 3-2 triumph at St. Scholastica. Ramras recorded three saves in the game and now has 136 for her career, fifth best all-time at HU.

Her 0.99 GAA and 52 saves (third best in the league)  of the reasons why the Pipers stand 6-4-1 overall (1-3-1 MIAC) heading into this Saturday's home matchup with St. Mary's. The six wins is already one more than the team recorded in all of 2015. The Colorado native has been in net for 1,001 minutes this season -- second highest total among MIAC keepers.
