The HU volleyball team will spend the weekend exactly where they have been situated for the most of the past month  -- Hutton Arena.

There is, however, one significant difference. This time, they will get to play against some unfamilar faces.

The Pipers (2-2) host their annual tournament September 6-7. They will play a pair of matches each day. On September 6, they tangle with Bethany Lutheran (4:00 p.m.) and UW-River Falls (8:00 p.m.). A quick turnaround the next afternoon sees the Pipers take on Crown (12:00 p.m.) and Ripon (2:00 p.m.). 

It's the second of three straight weekends of tournament play prior to opening MIAC play against Concordia September 17. By then, coach Becky Egan said she hopes to have a regular rotation set. So far, the competition for playing time has been intense. Last weekend, 15 different Pipers saw action as HU defeated Greenville (Ill.) and Grinnell while dropping to Nebraska Wesleyan and Graceland.
