Box Score Chelsea Koehn had a goal and an assist but Hamliine's women's hockey team was playing catchup all night and dropped a 6-3 decision at Gustavus Adolphus Friday night at Don Roberts Rink in St. Peter.Â

The Pipers were outshot 38-12 for the night. But they rallied from a 3-0 second period deficit to get within a goal when Chase and Rafferty scored six and a half minutes apart in the second period. A last-minute goal gave GAC a 4-2 lead at intermission.Â

Jenny Magill fed Koehn to get the Pipers back within a goal at 4-3. But the Gusties, the pre-season favorites to win the conference, came back to get the next two goals to seal the verdict.Â
Mary Shefveland had 32 saves in goal for HU.
Hamline now heads to Oscar Johnson Arena for their next three games. The first of these is a rematch with the Gusties on Saturday, November 22. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
