The Royals scored once in the first period and added a pair in the second to drop Hamline to 0-5-1 on the season (0-4-1 MIAC).Â
Katie Beckman had 28 saves -- including 15 in the third period alone --  in the Piper goal.Â
Jaci Reinke led the HU offense with five of the team's 22 shots on goal.Â
Hamline gets right back at it Saturday when they face the Royals again -- this time at the Blaine Super Rink. Game time is 2:00 p.m.
