The sophomore, who lost a singles match to Northwestern Friday night in three sets, registered a nervewracking 10-8 win at at No. 4 singles as the Piper fell to St. Scholastica, 7-2, Saturday at U of Minnesota. After falling 4-6, Rammage rallied for a win to force a third set. She outlasted her opponent for that one to give Hamline their first win after three doubles and singles setbacks.Â
Maggie Gibson also got HU a win, taking her No. 6 singles match in more traditional fashion with a straight set 6-3, 6-3 verdict.
Hamline, which is now 0-2, opens MIAC play next Saturday against Concordia.Â
