Driving on I-94 wasn't the only difficulty facing the Hamline women's tennis team Saturday.

St. Benedict showed why they are off to a 6-1 start, defeating the Pipers, 9-0 in Sartell. Emily Butler put up serious resistance at No. 1 singles before giving way, 6-4, 6-1.

The No. 3  team of Maggie Gibson and Lilli Denison fared the best in doubles, falling 8-5. 

Hamline is 1-5 overall, 1-3 in the MIAC.
