The senior scored two third period goals in the Pipers' season-ending 5-3 loss at St. Mary's Sunday. Henning finished the season tied with her teammate
Jordan Verleye tied for the team lead (and ranked seventh in the MIAC) in points with 22.
Sunday's game started quietly.
Lizzy Schieldt gave Hamline a first period lead. The Cardinals knotted the game at 1 and that is where we stood entering what would prove to be a wild third period.
SMU scored two goals 40 seconds apart to take a 3-1 lead. Henning chopped that advantage in half with an unassisted goal at 12:22. St. Mary's went up 4-2 at 15:16 only to see Henning strike 19 seconds later -- this time on a pass from Verleye.

Katie Beckmann untik they got a fifth marker in the final minute of play. Beckmann finished with 41 saves. In 14 games, the freshman finished with a 2.74 GAA and a .912 save percentage.
In addition to Henning, it was the final HU appearance for
Megan Campbell, Brittney Dwire and Jess Hunt.
Hamline finished the season 7-16-2, 3-13-2 in the MIAC.
