Hamline's women's tennis team dropped their MIAC opener, 9-0, to Carleton in a match played in Lakeville Thursday. Jordan Danielson put up the best fight, losing 6-4, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. Emily Wollmuth dropped her No. 6 singles match, 6-1, 6-2. Danielson and Emily Butler lost their No. 1 doubles match to the undefeated Knights, 8-2. 

Hamline faces Martin Luther Friday.
