The tandem of 
Elizabeth Hughes (pictured) and 
Lilli Dennison earned Hamline's lone point in an 8-1 women's tennis loss to Northwestern (MN) Saturday night. 
Hughes and Dennison fought their way to a 9-8 win at No. 3 doubles as HU fell to 1-3 on the season. On the singles side, 
Shamara Duwearatchi stretched her No. 3 singles foe to three games. Dennison did the same thing at No.. 5 singles.
Emily Wollmuth fell 6-1, 6-4 at No.. 6 singles. 
Jordan Danielson earned three games in her No. 2 singles match before falling 6-3, 6-0. 
The Pipers face Bethel February 20.
