Box Score Julia Zolnosky is rapidly becoming a go-to hitter for the Hamline volleyball team. The junior banged out a team leading dozen kills as Hamline swept past Bethany Lutheran, 3-0, in the opening round of tournament action in Morris, Minn. Friday night.
The Pipers came out swinging, rolling past the Vikings, 25-12 in the first set, committing just on error in the process. They tacked on a 25-19 win to grab a quick 2-0 lead. BLC made the third set interesting but HU got the points when needed to break a 23-all tie and claim a 25-23 win. Hamline improved to 2-1 on the 2015 season.Â
