Elizabeth Hughes (pictured) and Maddie Muotka each won twice as Hamline's women's tennis impressively defeated Bethany Lutheran, 9-0, Saturday in White Bear Lake, Minn. Muotka moved up to No. 1 singles and scored a 6-1, 6-2 decision. She then teamed with Jordan Danielson for an 8-0 win in doubles. Hughes was superb in a pair of 6-1 wins at No. 2 singles. She then joined forces with Lilli Denison for an 8-0 win at No. 2 doubles.
Maddie Gibson, Emily Wollmuth, Kate Johnson and Emily Butts recorded singles win with the doubles team of Emily Butler and Natalie Pieterick winning at No. 3 by 8-0.Â
