Box Score Chelsea Koehn started her last weekend as a women's college hockey player on a solid note. The senior moved into sixth place on the school's all-time point list with a pair of assists in Hamline's 9-3 loss to Gustavus Adolphus at Oscar Johnson Arena Friday.Â
The Pipers fell victim to a strong GAC power play that scored four times. The Gusties started fast, grabbing a 5-0 first period lead. They outshot the Pipers, 42-19, for the night.
Koehn improved her career total to 63 points. She set up Jena Kosley for a second period goal and helped Jaci Reinke on a third period tally. Both players netted their sixth goal of the season -- tops on the team. Megan Lowry had the other goal for the Pipers, who fell to 9-13-2 overall, 6-10-1 in the MIAC.
Head coach Natalie Darwitz and her troops finish off the season Saturday against GAC in St. Peter. Game time is 2:00 p.m.
