Jordan Danielson's flattening of previously undefeated Bridget Noack of St. Thomas proved to be the highlight in an 8-1 loss at the U-Minnesota Courts Saturday. The Maplewood, Minn. junior too charge early and never let up in recording a 6-4, 6-3 victory. The win improved Danielson's record at No. 1 singles to 3-3.Â
Danielson and her doubles partner, Maddie Muotka, also proved difficult fare for Noack and her partner, Shelby Henderson, before dropping an 8-4 decision at No. 1 doubles.Â
Elizabeth Hughes hung tough at No. 5 singles in a 6-2, 6-4 loss. Lilli Denison shook off a 6-0 first set loss at No. 4 singles to win three games in a second set setback.Â
Hamline is 3-5 overall, 1-4 in the MIAC. They are off until Saturday, March 19 when they take on Wooster in Orlando, Fla. in the first of five matches scheduled in the Sunshine State.
