It will be one well rested Hamline softball team when they open MIAC play. The Pipers, who haven't played since March 23, were scheduled to start MIAC play Saturday, April 2 at Carleton. However, with a forecast of chilly, windy weather ahead, the coaches have decided to push the doubleheader back 24 hours. The teams will now meet in Northfield on Sunday, April 3. The first game will start at 1:00 p.m.
Hamline, which earned its first second place finish in the MIAC ever last season, will take a 7-7 overall mark into the games. Carleton started fast, winning their first three games of the season. The Knights now stand 4-10 overall.Â
