Taylor Martinek swept to victory as the top effort of the night for the Hamline women's swimming/diving team at Carleton Friday. The junior claimed the 200 backstroke in 2:15.24 for the lone Piper win in a 194-35 loss. 

Martinek was second in the 50 Freestyle and was also part of a 200 Free Relay team with Mara Boulanger, Taylor Hanson and Bryce White that finished second in the 200 Free Relay. White had her own individual second place effort in the 100 Freestyle.

The Pipers will compete in the annual Hour of Power event at Macalester on November 14 before returning to Bush Pool November 18 to face St. Mary's. The meet begins at 1:00 p.m.
