It was about as close as a gymnastics meet could get. Hamline went 1-2-3 in the Vault and 2-3-4-5-6 in the Balance Beam but ended up onm the short end ... barely ...  of a 184.600-184.350 decision at Gustavus Adolphus Friday night.

Sydney Tribbett gave the Pipers the win in the Vault with a 9.47 score. She was followed closely by Cate Reynolds (9.400) and Rosie Giese (9.300).

On the Balance Beam, Meghan Webb was a close second with a 9.45 score. She was followed by Lydia Ingram (9.425), Tribbett (9.275), Madeline Lind  and Courtney Morrison, who each scored 9.200.

Darby Slater tied for second in the Floor Exercise (9.600) and Morrison was the top finisher on the Uneven Parallel Bars (9.300).

Hamline travels to Wisconsin-Stout for a meet on Friday, February 18.
