Box Score Something old, something new for the Hamline lacrosse team in their home opener Monday night at Klas Field. The old was a win -- the Pipers remained perfect at home in their history with a 22-3 triumph over Northland. The new was they survived a lightning delay in the first half. The clap hardly slowed HU down. The Pipers led 14-1 at the intermission and added eight more in the second half to even their 2017 record at 1-1.
Dana Almquist led the way with five goals while
Lindsey Jackman and
Brayden Maass added three each. Mass also chipped in with four assists.
Sydney Dynneson added a pair of goals as well.
Molly Dionne started in goal, giving way to
Katie Butler in the first half, who earned the win.
The Pipers now turn their attention towards league play Saturday when they host Cornell in their first ever Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference game at Klas Field. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
