Senior leadership was on full display Saturday for the Hamline women's tennis team.
Jordan Danielson and
Lilli Denison won their singles matches and teamed up for a doubles win as the Pipers claimed their first MIAC win of the season, 8-1, over Concordia at Holt Courts.
Danielson rolled to a 6-2, 6-0 decision at No. 1 singles while Denison went one better with 6-1, 6-0 triumphs at No. 3. The pair then worked together for an 8-2 decision at No. 1 doubles.
Megan Anderson and
Emily Butts also won singles matches. Anderson and
Natalie Pieterick had a doubles win. HU also had two default decisions. The Pipers are 2-10 overall, 1-6 in the MIAC. They play Bethel on Sunday, April 9. The match, originally scheduled for Arden Hills, has been moved to Fridley and will start at 5:00 p.m.
