Sydney Tribbett and
Caitlin Cooper shared center stage for the Hamline gymnastics team Friday night at Walker Field House. The Pipers dropped a 187.900-184.100 to the top rated Eagles but Tribbett dazzled the crowd with a 9.525 score to win the Floor Exercise competition. Cooper won the All-Around competition with a score of 36.200. The sophomore tied for second in the Floor Exercise with a 9.475 score. That was her top individual finish.
Tribbett was second on the Vault (9.575), just ahead of
Alyssa Huch, who tied for third at 9.500.
Lydia Ingram was the top finisher on the Uneven Parallel Bars, coming fourth with a 9.250 tally.
Meghan Webb led the Pipers on the Balance Beam with a sixth place finish and a 9.475 score.
Hamline fell to 0-3 in WIAC competition. They travel to Winona State for a meet on Friday, January 26. The meet begins at 6:30 p.m.
