The women's tennis team pushed their winning streak to three matches with a pair of wins February 17. The Pipers doubled up Morningside, 6-3 and then swept away Bethany Lutheran, 9-0, at the University of Minnesota.
Ali Kopiecki (pictured) and
Natalie Pieterick led the way against Morningside. Kopiecki, a freshman from Andover, Minn., won her No. 1 singles match with a pair of 6-0 verdicts. She and
Ella Seehafer teamed up for a No. 1 doubles win by an 8-5 count. Pieterick triumphed at No. 3 singles with two 6-1 decisions. She then joined
Megan Anderson for an 8-5 win at No. 2 doubles.
Everybody got into the act against BLC. The Pipers lost just eight sets in singles and none in doubles.
Hamline gets back on the court at Baseline on Saturday, February 24 with a MIAC match against St. Catherine that is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m.
