Sydney Tribbett and Alexa Vorderbruggen (pictured) beat back the competition for wins but the Piper gymnastics team lost another nailbiter, 185.625-185.550, at Wis-Eau Claire Wednesday night. 

Tribbett continued her excellent senior season with a 9.675 score that topped all the competitors in the Vault. Alyssa Huch was right behind Tribbett with a 9.625 score. Vorderbruggen, also a senior, had a dazzling Floor Exercise, scoring 9.650. That edged out Tribbett, who checked in at 9.625. The Pipers won both those team competitions.

Tribbett was seventh on the Balance Beam (9.150) and 11th on the Uneven Parallel Bars (8.350) to win the All-Around competition with a 36.800 tally. 

Courtney Morrison was the HU scorer on the Balance Beam, tying for second place with a 9.450 showing. (Meghan Webb was next at 9.425). Morgan Bradford was fourth on the Uneven Parallel Bars at 9.175, just ahead of Morrison (9.050) and Lydia Ingram (9.025).
